Got some fantastic news! Goosie's x-rays came back fine! So given her lack of symptoms/x-rays showing up fine the vet & I both agree that she may have had a heartworm at 1 point but not now. But also to keep an eye on her & to make sure to keep up w/ her heartworm preventative 🎉

Yesterday my cat was playing with a couple of screwdrivers (I had them on a table since I'd used them earlier) & batting them around. I was joking with her & saying "Are you trying to maintenance? You can't use those, you don't have opposable thumbs!"

Goosie was a very good girl at the vet and didn't need to be sedated for her xray! Hopefully I'll get her results back soon.

Goosie has a chest x-ray on the 17th. Somehow she got a heartworm. I am 99% certain she got it before I adopted her (October last year) though given that she did fight some symptoms right after I adopted her which I thought were something else. She's been pretty well for a bit now.

Goosie has a vet visit this afternoon. I'm pretty sure she has some allergies but I'm not sure what's causing them. She also has some other issues that might be related to food but might be related to her having had kittens (before I adopted her she was also spayed last year).
