I went in to meet with a seamstress because it’s dress alterations time and when I got there I said I had a 5 o’clock appointment and the guy looks at the opaque garment bag and was was like “okay! What’s in there, a prom dress or…” Sir, I am THIRTY FOUR 😭

Oh I got my tax return already. That was kind of fast

I saw this dress I really liked maybe a year ago but it was $130 so I didn’t get it. Then I saw it dropped down to like $80 and was like 🤔 maybe? Still didn’t get it though. It’s $40 now. Clearance. SOLDDDD. If it looks good on me it’ll be my rehearsal dinner dress

Conference week. I’m die. I usually get to work about 6:30 or 6:45 in the morning. I have to stay until 7PM. I have 11 conferences tomorrow with only one break for “dinner” at 3:15-4:30 😭 I hateeee

I loveeee lentils but so many recipes we’ve tried have not been great. The one we tried last night in the instant pot was so easy and so tasty. Even Luke really liked it. He was eating his leftover takeout for lunch today and was like “…I wish I was eating the lentils instead of this”

Anniversary weekend was fun. We did a tasting at our venue to figure out our menu and then had dinner somewhere soo nice. Stayed at a nice hotel overnight (aka the hotel we have our wedding room block at)

It’s our 4th anniversary and we’re a little less than 5 months from wedding dayyyyyyy

OH also my chao cardigan arrived and I love it but it’s HUGE. The sleeves are longer than my arms, even. That neverrrr happens to me, usually sleeves are a little too short on me 😭

Got the invitations designed and ordered yesterday, and next we’re planning to get a food tasting set up so we can decide our menu (I have to collect my guests’ dinner orders, so I need the meals decided before I actually mail any invitations)

Got tired of trying to figure out songs for some parts of the ceremony and was like “fuck it. Groom’s processional will be a Kakariko Village cover on a harp. My bridesmaids will walk to a cover of Aerith’s theme done on a harp” 🤷‍♀️
