Laenor used to sing Luke to sleep by singing all the lullabies Rhaenys used to sing to him as a kid while Luke laid on his chest and he absolutely always ended up singing himself to sleep at the same time

Laenor def snuck out of the Keep to meet up with Qarl, and didnt notice Luke sneaking out with him until Luke popped up from under one of the seats on their rowboat. Their romantic date turned into the most awkward gay family picnic for both of them but the best day ever for Luke

Lucerys would absolutely sneak his baby dragon into the Keep at every opportunity. He'd be sleeping with a 2-3 year old Arrax covering him with his wings like he's a big heating blanket. Rhaenyra would come to put him to bed and Arrax would be hiding up in the rafters.

I just know that Corlys was carrying Luke around, showing him off to everyone and their mother going: Have you met my wonderful little grandson? He's the heir to House Velaryon. Hell he was probably out there calling Luke his heir and then introducing Laenor as just his son.

Corlys is never beating the favorite grandson allegations, that dagger he commissioned for Lucerys looks like the one Qarl was messing with in Corlys' hall just with the Seashell inverted. He and Luke would have matched 😭😭😭

Laenor: some days I think my father loves Luke more than he ever loved me. Cut to Corlys in the background playing with Luke in the sea despite the salt water definitely ruining his clothes, just because his grandson asked him to come play

Luke sleeps in Laenor’s old chambers at driftmark whenever he visits, and no matter how many times the maids ask if he wants them to clear out the room so that he can bring in his own things, he says no because it’s the only place he can feel close to his father

Laenor would def take Jace and Luke to go learn how to fish for oysters and then teach them how to open and eat them, only for Luke to be a little menace who lets them collect all the oysters while he just eats them out of the basket while their backs are turned.

Luke seems like a kid that would want to sit in their parents lap during dinner and if they tried to get him to start sitting in his own chair he just goes over to their chairs and tries to shove them back from the table so he can get up in their lap. He does it with Corlys too all the time

Just remembered that this is literally the last sight Corlys had of Luke, and it’s him looking up at his grandpa with such clear love. Luke must’ve thought he was going to make Corlys so proud by being brave and carrying his mothers message 😭😭
