United Airlines is have some system wide tech issue that is keeping flight plans from being downloaded by the pilots. Our pilot came into the boarding area to fully explain the situation, details, and next steps. That was just amazing. I’ve never seen that level of customer service before.

Hey Waymo, you might want to update this vehicle’s SW. A Chandler AZ 3 lane blvd was reduced to 2 lanes for paving. The Waymo vehicle drove up the closed lanes stopping behind the sealant spraying truck. It seemed baffled and put on its hazard lights. Oops!

One of my favorite desert trees is the Elephant Tree, Bursera microphylla. Its green leaves come out in the fall or winter. As other trees bud out in the spring it opts to lose its leaves for the hot summer ahead. It’s sort of like a cactus that goes dormant for the summer. Pretty in gold right now.
