Blaming media outlets for this moment is valid. I also know so many journalists of color who tried to bring things up, point things out, report with integrity, and change how communities of color are reported; only to be repeatedly discouraged, dismissed and reprimanded by white editors and managers

Thousands of datasets have disappeared from
data.gov
. Determining what's gone, why it's gone, and whether it moved elsewhere will to take time. Things are definitely being purged but archivists working hard to determine exactly what has happened to a given dataset

Exigimos que se detenga este manejo negligente y que se implementen de inmediato planes que incluyan reforestación proporcional, consultas comunitarias y monitoreo público. No podemos permitir que el modelo energético actual profundice el daño ambiental y social en nuestras comunidades.

Dear Editors — If you’re considering publishing an article about issues related to transgender people, then perhaps you should consider assigning that article to a transgender journalist. Don’t have any transgender journalists in your newsroom?
