I think the Vibes are a result of using AI Ghibli aesthetic to predominate the AI-gen Lofi music loops on YT. It’s not real to begin with. They forced the vibe and bc no one’s actually watched these films, it overwrote the aesthetic. That + the commercial popularity of Totoro and Kiki as brands.
