You May Not Like The Way I Talk About Cancer, Imagine How I Really Feel About Having Cancer It’s interesting how some people are more upset about the words I use to talk about cancer than the fact that I actually have cancer. Not the diagnosis.Not the treatments.Not the emotional roller coaster. The words. Apparently, there is a preferred vocabulary when it comes to illness. Certain phrases are acceptable.
