*A hand reaches out, grappling @shantaes.bsky.social's wrist gently as they charge away from the battling Heretics, Eunhwa shimmering into view. She clutches the skull tightly as they run at full speed.* We need to get to the Ark, immediately! *Several Rapture calling signals begin to ring out.*

*With Levi distracted, Eunhwa charges in. Concealed by her cloak, she snatches up the skull and darts back towards the crater's edge. Back on the coms, she quietly talks to @shantaes.bsky.social* Fall back, I have the skull! We need to get out of here!

We need to stop her!! She'll pull information from whoever's mind shelter that is!! Engage, engage!! *Eunhwa hisses over the coms, leveling her rifle at at Leviathan.*

*Eunhwa continued to creep closer, keeping herself hidden in her cloak. She needed to get to the edge of the crater so she could see down. Quickening her pace as much as she dared, safe finally reached an optimum spot. Raising her scope, she saw Levi pause to pick up something.*

*Eunhwa watches alongside @shantaes.bsky.social through her own binoculars.* This is bad. Just the two of us against a Heretic... and not just any Heretic, one of the Four Beasts? Tch... No telling what else was drawn in by that blast. *She shimmers from view, skulking slowly towards the crater*

A blast this big is going to attract a lot of attention. *She skids to a halt, eyes wide in horror. Dawn has broken, revealing a flattened landscape. Flattened trees sprawl out before them giving way to a barren, burned crater far in the distance.* .... oh goddess....

*Dawn is rapidly approaching. Through the moonlight, she can see traces of the trees. All tilting the same direction. A blast wave. Gritting her teeth, she charges forward faster. Once the sun peeks she loses the cover of night. Raptures will have heard the blast too...*

*Eden is several days out. But time is of the essence. Sleep is going to have to wait. She sprints at full speed, ignoring everything else. Stealth is her element and she slips swiftly past several Rapture patrols. Even as the sun sets, she keeps moving. A ghost in the night.*

*Slinging her gear over her back, she marches towards the surface elevator. Map in hand, she rides up in silence. Dorothy was far from her favorite person... But someone like her doesn't just go missing out of the blue. Eunhwa shudders at the possibilities. A Heretic Dorothy.....*

*Paces around the small briefing room.* The Ark has lost contact with Eden. Scans indicate the shockwave we felt was the result of an explosion in that area. A small team is being scrambled to investigate. Eden is a valuable ally, and we need to assess any dangers to the Ark.(+)

*A thunderous shockwave ripples through the Ark. Almost as if it were an earthquake. But something about it seems... wrong. Eunhwa snatches up her phone, grabbing her gear, and hurries towards the Outpost. Her face buried in her phone as she messages Elysion.* What the hell was that?

*The door slides open to @heavyweaponsgirl.bsky.social's dorm.* We're being deployed. Ingrid is sending us the details soon. *She walks over, sitting down on Emma's bed, checking her gear and pouches.*

Well, that was a short leave. Got an emergency briefing this morning. Absolute is being deployed for an as of yet unknown issue that seems to have arisen on the surface. Higher ups are keeping this one tight to the chest, it seems.

Spending our first night on the surface. There seems to be odd signals coming from multiple spots. We are team one of six, apparently. Each anomalous signal seems to originate from some particular building. We are about 2 days out, if we remain uninterrupted.
