My body is currently giving me an exciting mini game to play as I try to sleep, where I can only lay on one part of my body at a time before it starts to cause immense pain and I have to flip flop around. I have not had a wink of sleep in three hours

My goal with that account is a twofold - one to, of course, get the word out about it because I want to release that in a playable format for people to enjoy, and two, to ask if anyone would like to contribute art to the project, whether pre-existing or custom-made.

I'm not doing anything with it right this second (I have a lot of chores to do today) but I've set up a bluesky account specifically for my custom mtg set over at @oni.gay here. I've owned that domain for years, may as well use it here instead of springing for a new one. It's appropriate, after all.

After like three and a half years (though most of that inactive,) I have finally designed my custom MTG set. It is 359 custom cards, 10 reprints, and 20 basics, leaving us with 389 total cards. I've worked like 100+ hours on this in the past four weeks, and that's like when 60% of the progress was.

i'm legitimately surprised at how much i'm enjoying pragmata. the combat becomes satisfyingly complex in the second area, it runs well, and i currently actually legitimately like the writing in it. for having not followed its development at all, it's a very pleasant surprise

In two weeks I'll be doing an important marathon; this is my "I gots to pay my Taxes" marathon that I do each year in early April. (It'll also help me out with some repairs and similar.) This marathon will be going for a minimum of 22 hours, though the exact timing of it isn't super clear as of yet.

I's a really interesting thing to be probably the only person to have produced video content for a game in likely 17 years. MISSING was a hell of a nostalgia trip for me and a bit of closure: I distinctly remember failing on the final step of that game in middle school. We succeeded this time!

there's a sort of special feeling of cheating that's only available when you're working with virtual machines. swapping a game's files into a shared folder, patching it through your actual computer because deltapatcher is a 64-bit only program now, and then copying it back to the VM and it works
