Pleased to have helped co-ordinate the @wcrpclimate.bsky.social Hunga atmospheric impacts report. The explosive energy from the VEI6 eruption was likely more than 1991 Pinatubo, on a par with 1883 Krakatau. Shallow underwater setting saw impacts from emitted sulphur & emitted water vapour.
