I love the idea behind the atprotocol and Bluesky but how are they going to deal with all these bots? People are setting up auto like and auto follow scripts, spamming the platform. They’ll probably have to go to paid API access and premium subscription pretty soon.

I honestly don’t understand why I’m getting followers everyday steadily. It doesn’t seem to correlate with my posting activity. And a lot of the new followers are not indiehacking accounts. Many of them follow thousands of people and have few followers.
