Update to this, after the game crashing twice when I tried to type in my Microsoft account info, I was able to get it to work.

Trying to set up the Halo MCC on my deck has been fustrating. I really don't like games forcing me to login to get to the title screen of games.

Finally, I got around to finishing up Small Saga this weekend. You really need to play it for no other reason than its art. The gameplay and story are also pretty great. Feels like a bite-sized jrpg in the ilk Chrono Trigger and ff4 in a lot of ways.

Think I might give ghost of Tsushima another shot on steam deck once its on a super low sale. Will be looking out during the fall and winter sales this year.

Started Silent Hill f today. I'll have more thoughts once I get further, but it's great so far!

Played the whole of Eclipsium yesterday. A few of the puzzles were a bit confusing to me (maybe my brian is smooth idk) but I was enjoying its art style so much. I feel bad just calling it a walking simulator even though Steam does, but its puzzles are light enough that it kinda fits that bill.

On the metroidvania train a little bit after playing Hollow Knight, so i started Blasphemous while im waiting for Silent Hill f to release. It feels much harder the Hollow Knight in a lot of ways. I might end up going back to Hollow Knight. The allure of the true ending has been calling to me.

I honestly despise early access as a deluxe edition incentive.

Officially picking up Silent Hill f day 1. It's very refreshing to be this excited for a Silent Hill game. It's ironic that when this was announced, I was the most skeptical about f out of all the new SH game announcements.

Rolled credits on hollow knight. 63% completion. I know there's more to do, but I got other games to play, so that's it with it for now. I really did myself a disservice not playing it again until now.

I've been playing a ton of Hollow Knight this week. I'm not sure how deep into dlc content I'll go yet, but I'm enjoying what I have gotten into so far. That second hornet fight is the thing that's given me the most trouble by far so far.

I was cautiously excited for this when it was announced. My hype is through the roof now that I've recently finished the SH2 remake.

I cannot believe this game is gonna be 20 dollars.

Story of Seasons Grand Bazar looks great, but I have 4 different other farming games that im still meaning to get to. The backlog is eternal.

The Sonic Crossworlds beta has been neat, but im not paying 70 bucks for it. Mostly due to me not having a ton of time for online games right now. Hopefully, I can pick it up on sale down the line.

SH2 remake is finally done and dusted. Voice acting in this game is just not a fan of at all. Games are slightly too long but good otherwise. Pats assessment was spot on last year; Blooper can sure color inside the lines real good. Hope the voice acting is better for the sh1 remake.

Im unsure how much I like it when remakes pad out the game to make it longer. In the Silent Hill 2 remake its mostly working for me (it helps that most of the puzzle are at least remixed from the original) but I'm honestly not sure if I like the number of boss fights so far.

I hope people who are playing MGS Delta enjoy it. Personally, even if it's a remake, im not touching an MGS game that Kojimas' name isn't on.

That urge to replay Clair Obscur even though my backlog is massive.

Started playing the SH2 remake again. I'm enjoying it more now that im no longer in a repeating pattern of being at low health, finding a health drink, then gettjng immediately smacked down to low health again.

Weapons was pretty great. Happy we got to go see it.

Started Rune Favtory 5 yesterday to maybe justify the purchase I made of the special edition all the way back at Pax East 2020. It's fun! Getting used to Rune Factory rankings is taking some getting used to, though. Wish they had better inventory systems for equipment.

My favorite childhood gaming memory is my grandmother's Genesis. She bought it for a casino game cause she loved gambling but didnt always want to spend the money on the casino. It came with sonic 2. So when I would visit, id stay up in her living room after she went to bed and try to beat sonic 2.

Been replaying FFX this week while using the expert sphere grid for the first time. Its been fun so far! Having more control over character growth has been such a great change of pace from how I usually experience the game.

I've always taken IGNs reviews with a massive heap of salt after this.
