I still can’t believe I’m meeting Marrok’s actor in 5 days. He is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and that started as a joke at first, but that ironic love slowly turned into genuine respect for an amazing villain.

I’ve been loving My Adventures with Superman, but I’m not vibing with the design and voice for Slade. I hate sounding like a neckbeard, but he genuinely feels so meek and void of any cool factor, especially when comparing him to Manu Bennett, Ron Perlman, or even the DCEU portrayals.

Guys I’m gonna be real, there are many thing to criticize the Mando movie for, but I will never understand people who attempt to demonize Grogu as this psychotic character. I also obviously don’t get people who actively root for and joke about his death. He’s a baby FFS.

One thing I hope “Mando & Grogu” proves me wrong with is the use of Zeb as Mando’s First mate. It looks like he’s going to be in the movie a lot. I get that Mando needs a buddy, but I would have preferred Boba or Cobb. Zeb just feels like such a random character for a movie about the Mandalorian.

Yesterday, I saw an interview where Paul Darnell revealed a deleted line of dialogue from Marrok, where he exclaims “I was trained by Darth Vader.” Did some thinking on what his death at the hands of Ahsoka now symbolizes.

One thing I love about Bad Batch is the two ways it handled redemption. Those who ended up repenting got to survive and continue their new path. And those were betrayed the group were never seen again, showing that sometimes, bad people don’t deserve a second chance and should be forgotten.

3 years ago we lost Tech, a character who meant the world to me. In the past, I was ridiculed for not “acting” like I care or showing any kind of emotion or gratitude, and it broke my heart because it simply wasn’t true.

Nerd tangent, but I love how the Empire is now using outdated models in the Mando Movie. Furthers the idea that they’re scrapped together and unorganized. Like repurposing Clone AT-RTs, vehicles that have been retired for 30 years, or the AT-AT prototype from Rebels, instead of the movie variant.
