I got to enjoy the first nude arsenic opportunity of 2026 today. It was almost HOT. Two trees made it into the ground. I hope they like it here.

I promise that it’s me in the video. And that’s my car stuck in the road at the end of the driveway. We got a little snow overnight and it drifted a little bit through the day today. Is it Spring yet?

I’ve been working on assembling this LEGO set over the last week, and I’m only about halfway done. (This is the botanical garden, and it has more pieces than any set I’ve assembled previously.)

I don’t usually have much down time during a work day, but today is a “hurry up and wait” day, and I’ve exhausted all of my usual distractions (social media, NYT Games, etc). I also got to the office 2.5 hours earlier than usual. It’s gonna be a loooooong day.

This fiddle leaf fig was growing in an imbalanced way, and it was too big for this corner. I took a leap and chopped it up, and after a handful of weeks, it’s growing! I’m quite pleased… so far.

Last night was my second seed sowing party (for one). I have wanted to grow more annuals (and veggies and perennials) from seed to spend less money, and this year it’s finally happening!

Welp. I need a LOT more practice. I’m trying to learn to paint with watercolors. Something I learned with this attempt is that I need to let things dry before I add more pigment/water.

T’was ABSOLUTELY worth it. A small portion of the grease (and all the delicious gremlins left in the pan) was used to fry up some potatoes (reds, with onion), and a couple of eggs were added for garnish. When the onions and potatoes go from salty-peppery to sweet and creamy…. I’m in heaven.

I did it. I broke the rule. I cooked bacon in the buff.

You ever find a fly in your soup? Last year, the host of this podcast (NNN) made clear, direct comments that disparaged people that he sees as fat/unhealthy. As if it’s his place. As the “official” podcast for AANR, I find it objectionable and irresponsible. Seeing them included here is gross.

While traveling for work, I took a few minutes to take some self portraits. I thought this room had interesting textures and fixtures, different from what I have at home. I also seem to be obsessed with these colors, and I had some small light panels helping to illuminate the scene.

I’m considering a brief visit to Turtle Lake Resort this weekend. Have you been before? My concern is: how warm is it in winter? They have indoor facilities and amenities, but it’s supposed to be REALLY cold this weekend, and I don’t want to have a bad experience.

I belong to a naturist discord server that has period photography challenges. This month, the challenge is to spell out a word (as many letters as possible) using photos. (Each letter is assigned a “theme”.) Using photos in my library, I’m able to spell “MAGNITUDE”.

I had disassembled my little photo studio about 6 weeks ago for a few projects, and finally put it back up last night. I’ve been inspired by several photographers’ works, and I was attempting to create something similar. But also, Hubby gifted me a colored light, so I just wanted to play. 🙂

Dear friends treated us to a night out last night, and we saw Mannheim Steamroller perform. They’ve been performing these hits for decades, but it was still a great show. It was very nostalgic for me.

Ok, it’s safe to share the story. For family Christmas, we draw names and give a gift to just the one person. I drew our oldest grandson, and thought it would be fun to wrap his gift in a crazy way. (Who gifts a toilet, anyway?) It was well received! I enjoy being silly. 🤪

I enjoyed a fascinating presentation from TNSF’s monthly naturism-in-culture series tonight. I wish I remembered more details and names, but it was a great, high-level orientation of the origins of gymnosophy, which is one philosophy that informed what we call naturism today. So cool!

I’m not a big celebrator of holidays, but I do love a creative use of technology. We have visited the Garden Glow event at Missouri Botanical Garden several times and did again last night. These were a few of my favorite views from the evening.

I found this silly/cute glamping trailer scratching pad at Aldi last week, and I put it together for the house cats today. They were very suspicious and curious.

We visited friends this weekend, and one had asked me if I would be willing to photograph him. I packed and took a bunch of my equipment and had a wonderful time! (Most of the photos are more personal/private for him, so I’ll only share this one here.) Who’s next?!

Miss Bianca and Barnard are enjoying freedoms (still kept in the barn but not always kept in their condo). Miss Bianca is much more loving when she’s had freedom to run.

I received the third drop today, and I’m in awe of the creativity that is feeding this. (I also found/ordered a sticker collecting album yesterday, and that has me even more excited to be in this sticker club) Get in on it if you can!

I had the privilege of visiting Blind Creek Beach this morning. I had been in the area for work and had some time before my flight home. The air temp was *quite chilly* but the sun and water felt amazing. ☀️🌊 For this visit, I was able to connect with a BlueSky friend, which made it even better.

I forgot to follow-up on this thread. I ended up having my clothes-minded friend help with the deck, and it is mostly finished. I wore shorts for the first day of his help, and the second day was rather cold, so I wore a shirt AND shorts that day.

The friends mentioned here are the same that recently learned that I’m a naturist. We had a nice conversation about naturism (two of them, actually), and while I don’t know that either of them would join me, they also didn’t seem to have any negative feelings about it. ☀️🌊

Close friends took us on a super short adventure over the weekend to peep some fall colors in northern Georgia.

My heart is bursting with joy! I have always (since I was a little kid) loved butterflies, and I have wanted to create a garden that attracted them. Especially the monarch butterfly. This video is from today, and I’m beyond thrilled! (Hubby says he saw 100x more a few weeks ago!)

We had a bit of an adventure today. We tried to go to a regional Lego enthusiast convention, but we learned that it had been cancelled upon arriving at the venue. So we did some antique shopping and had a wonderful lunch.
