I watched the most recent LBJ movie. Especially given our present situation, I found it immensely inspiring. President Johnson was a flawed man who made a massive mistake with Vietnam. But his Great Society programs & signing the Voting & Civil Rights Acts as exactly the type of effort we need now

I've been thinking about President Kennedy's speeches and saying we do this that and other thing not because its easy but because its hard. And necessary, and morally just, I'd add.
