Pretty proud of how it turned out. Middle hole was being a pain to get solder off. Had just as much trouble resoldering even with flux. The switch bounce and occasional failure to register clicks is fixed! Replaced Razer omron with same omron regular switch. I’m really enjoying soldering—was fun.

I am disliking playing beat saber with index controllers the more I play with them because I hit every damn button on it—pause and steamvr overlay are notable mentions. I’ve played like this for about 3.5 years now. Yes it’s just a skill issue for me.

Windows 10 is technically EOL in less than 2 weeks and Microsoft basically says that if your PC doesn’t meet Windows 11 system requirements, then buy a new PC. Can we then just say Microsoft is encouraging and is going to cause millions of e-waste? We love modern day big tech!! 😔
