My SIL had surgery last week & isn’t doing well. My brother just keeps texting me that he wants our mom. I am a fixer but this is one thing I can’t fix for him that I wish I could.

Working with family isn’t always easy especially when they know what buttons to push. But my nephew crossed a line when he mentioned my brother and our biodad in the same sentence. So today is going to be fun.

Been trying out new wines to see what I like. This is extremely good and effective.

Next Thursday I have a dinner my friend invited me to. Excited about actually having plans that I get to actually dress up for and maybe feel like a woman instead of a feed store worker. But also nervous because it seems like nobody in my life seems to think I can be “girly”

Told my friend that life hasn’t been easy lately and that I have a ton of questions but nobody to ask and that I was kind of mad about that. Without missing a beat she goes “you’re not mad about having questions. You’re mad that the person with the answers isn’t here anymore.”

Today has been a weird emergency call day. Started the day by hearing about an elderly lady falling into a well and just ended the hearing an elderly lady went missing and fell into a pond. Both are fine from what people are saying.

I had to put away this week’s cricket order so Thelma is now mad at me because I had to get the employee that was petting her to go upfront to wait on customers while that happened.

I’ve had 3 panic attacks in the last week after going a good four months without any. Work is beyond stressful, & as an owner now a lot of the decisions are on me of what we do next. Doesn’t help that I go home to an empty house & nobody on the outside to talk with that doesn’t lecture.
