I just finished #JanthirWilds story. It's... disappointing😞. I play #GuildWars2 since release, and I never saw such a bland finale. It seems ArenaNet ran out of steam at Lowland Shore. Their struggles to connect Janthir and SotO are footless because of characters I don't care of. It's a shame.

Writing especially gets much less engagement than artwork or video, usually because of the time commitment involved. If you think someone's "probably received plenty of compliments" on their writing, you are wildly overestimating how much actual feedback small-time non-fanfiction writers get.
