"Well, there's a fun raiser going on at the end of this month on behalf of Okumura Foods to raise funds for the orphanage I've been privately taking care of. I was hoping that, maybe you could accompany me?" She paused,"If you don't want to go, I can ask Akira, but I figured I ask first."

"Oh Akechi- kun! I was worried I caught you at a bad time. Um..it isn't a bad time...is it?"

His phone continues to ring, showing that Haru was calling and it seemed to be from her personal number.

"Well, we hope to hear more from you during the broadcast of your interview later this week!" At that moment, his phone would start to go off as Sae, who was standing at the side, stole the front stage. "Okay, that's enough of that. Get lost, or I will have police escort you all out!"

Another reporter comes by, shoving the other to the side. "Is it also true that you are involved with a delinquent who is possibly rumored to be the leader of the Phantom Thieves? I've got to say, your time away from the media has certainly been an interesting one to observe!"

"Would it be possible for us to get a comment from Lady Okumura herself? If the two of you are indeed an item, does that mean that the lawsuit against her has been settled and plans for an heir are underway? We're so interested in getting the inside scoop with Okumura!"

The overall chatter around him grew louder as a question was answered. When he asked one in return, she pulled back her microphone. "We have photos from an anonymous source that the two of you were walking downtown hand in hand. I would think that makes you more than friends, yes?"

Within the crowd of people greeting the detective, one of the reporters moves closer. "Akechi! We've heard rumors that you've been taking your hiatus with Okumura Haru. Is this true, and are the rumors of an intimate relationship true?!" She shoves her microphone at him as others flash cameras.
