It was nice going back to basics. No compiler, operating system, apis, docs, networking, versioning, users, but most of all no genAI. Just my fingers, buttons and a screen.

It’s incredible how much drying your 3d print filament helps. Whatever issues I thought I had with my first layer are completely gone. All I did was store it in a bucket with moisture absorbing stuff.

New thought. genAI is insentivised just like advertising is. It needs to stand out, be flashy and look promising all while the actual value is secondary. That's also how it has been trained/fine tuned whenever human labelers are involved, who are under time crunch.
