Editing scientific findings because it doesn't fit a specific narrative is unacceptable. Neuro-omics databases should not be altered because your tax dollars paid for this research to be conducted through a budget approved and dictated by Congress. There are 3 branches of government.

Well when you delete an entire K-funding mechanism meant to diversify future faculty it's going to have some impacts. Reduction in force in academia as fall out. What a generation of lost academics passionate about their missions.

What you aren't seeing in this data is the number of undergrads, grads, medical students, clinicians, postdocs and early career scientists that this is directly impacting. What you also won't see are the cures for diseases and therapeutics that won't be developed because of these NIH-restrictions.
