In #KatFS, Kalia will sometimes have to collect special items to activate certain devices, such as power crystals. I've been revamping the way "key-lock" interactions work, so that they behave nicely with the save system changes. Plus, you can see them being carried now! 😈 #indiegame #gamedev

The new save/load state system is turning out well! Saving script states has been one of the messiest bits of #KatFS, but the new system should make it easier to manage (and debug) For example, incomplete puzzles can be reset on load while finished ones load in a completed state! #gamedev #indiedev

Currently implementing a new system for saving and loading logic/puzzle states in #KatFS. Rather than saving states for individual script components (and hoping the spaghetti doesnt fall apart), scripts will be bundled in groups and have a series of pre-baked states which can be loaded in 😈 #gamedev
