This streak finally broke at 77 days. There’s still a lot going on in my head, but I’ve been doing a lot of journaling (interactive through an LLM tool, with support and guidance of my therapist) over the last couple months in preparations for some conversations with my therapist.

Day isn't off to a great start, 0-2 on rounds. We're on a lunch break. If I don't win round 3 I'll probably drop and play side events for prize tickets. BUT! One of the vendors was offering free foiling of the Lorcana logo, and I got my signed Pirate Tigger mat foiled.

OK, well, that drive was a bit longer than I would have liked, but I finally made it to the hotel. Playing in a Continental Championship Qualifier this weekend. Running the Amber/Steel Lilo Tribal aggro deck. We'll see how it plays in a large tournament. 256 players.

It is indisputable that I'm a larger person. I'm both tall, and overweight. I'm pretty sensitive about the latter. I have a pretty severe dislike of how I look, and the weight is something I've been struggling with immensely. I've lost nearly 30 pounds, with another 40-50 to go.

Well, based on discourse over the last 2 months, the ABDL diaper vendors we're allowed to buy from are: ...and that's the list. At this point there's been a call to boycott literally every major vendor I'm aware of since the first of the year. I'm just so tired.

It's been 63 days since I was last diapered. It hasn't been due to lack of access or opportunity, but because of stress and something having become off kilter in my brain. This is probably the longest stretch of time I've gone without being diapered in the last decade.

OK, well, I think that's everything off to the CPA for this year's taxes. Let's see how badly I messed up the organizer. 😂 New CPA company this year, so not 100% sure how they want everything done.

Was putting together my target run last night, and noticed that they had the Ninja 2 basket air fryer on sale for 40% off. Talked to Res and was like "We've talked about upgrading...." and he was like "Ok, but we have an air fryer" and I said "Ok, but Dino Nuggies and Tots at the same time"

Woke up with a headache, and then it took 2 lab techs 4 sticks to draw blood this morning (this isn't super uncommon, my veins are deep!), and decided that since I have nearly nothing to do at work until Jan 6 and I'm mostly off until then, I'd get started on holiday break a day early.

(personal thoughts) I always have a moment, as I stand backstage at closing ceremonies at MFF, having been on stage and had the pleasure of telling people just how many of them there are, and we're about to present The Big Check to the charity where I look up and am reminded: this is why we do this.

The next 4 weeks of work are going to be pretty high stress, to be immediately followed by getting on a plane and then doing my (large) part in running MFF. If I'm short with you or anything over the next 5 weeks, just know it's not you.

Meanwhile, after running errands in the early afternoon, I changed clothes to do laundry and settle in for a couple hours of MFF work. Back to my paying job tomorrow.

Home from the Lorcana Challenge. Didn't do as well as I hoped in the main event, but overall had a good time. I can't make the one in January. But maybe the one in Indy in June.

Being honest, I love Cel's art, and the new diapers are in theory pointed right at me as a market. But the design is just too busy for me. If the saturation was taken down a step or two, or the busyness of the design (especially the back) reduced by 1/3, I would have instabought them.

Was feeling kinda meh, and really on the fence about getting diapered tonight. Ended up doing so, if only because I'm really tired and I won't have to get out of bed in the middle of the night.

Played my first Set Champs of the set. Finished 9th of 41, just missing the top 8 cut for the prizing. Finished highest of all our league regulars. Had a whole bunch of folks telling me that 9th was fantastic given the caliber of players in the room. This store is considered the hardest in the bay

Landed on a deck for Set Champs and the DLC. I'm not entirely thrilled with it, because it's about the same that I've been running the last few sets and I wanted to try something different, but in this meta I might have a chance? I guess we'll see.

In a month I'm heading to Milwaukee to play in the main event at the first Lorcana Challenge of this play season. I am incredibly in my head about it. I have no illusions of placing high enough to get any of the special prizes, but I'd like to at least make a decent showing for myself.

Feeling much better this morning. Will be heading up to BFC around 11. I have no idea if anyone is interested, but I've thrown a handful of Lorcana decks in my bag. If anyone was curious and wanted to learn how to play (or even just look at the art), happy to facilitate that.

Bleh. I feel like a terrible friend. Woke up this morning not feeling well. Thought I'd powered through it, got halfway to BFC, realized I forgot my badge, got back home to pick it up, stood up from the car and had a wave of vertigo and nausea. So I ended up begging off for tonight.

All that being said, if you DO have good things to say about your convention experiences - regardless of convention! - share them with the con! People want to hear what works well so they can keep doing it, and maybe make them even better!

Following on something @daddysnowkitty.bsky.social posted a few minutes ago, I think the "you don't know the impact you have on people's lives" is the major reason I continue to invest in MFF. (Thoughts my own, and not representative of the con, and not speaking for the con)

Unsure how I'm really feeling about BFC right now. Having a kinda down week, which I'm sure isn't helping. It's always a weird space for me, because I'm pretty much only DL, so most of the activities/panels don't really appeal.

2 hours of staring at Visio trying to design updated hall layouts.... time to take a break. >.<

It's funny seeing ABDL artists joke about clients always asking "Can you make the diaper bigger", because just once I asked an artist if they could draw a diaper a little thinner and they flat out refused. Y'all artists are just as guilty of Big Diaper propaganda is all I'm saying.
