it’s the 90s and I’m a writer moving into a small apartment above a book shop. Everyday I sit on my terrace sipping tiny cups of coffee pecking away at my typewriter. If someone wants to reach me they can call my landline phone or stop by the nearby cafe on sundays where I sit smoking and reading.

Me listening to the same song over and over again

I’ve been in Japan too long I’m forgetting English words and when I speak English to non-Japanese speakers I pepper in Japanese words and phrases. My mum was like “heather what the hell is pakuchi?” I had forgotten the word “cilantro” and kept saying pakuchi like she knew what I meant. 🤦🏻‍♀️

apparently my type is silly tall guys who live too far away. 🤷🏻‍♀️
