A solid budget RPG with fun customizable combat, great QoL features (toggle encounters & EXP), excellent music, and non-linear progression. The story is forgettable, but the gameplay makes it an easy recommendation for JRPG fans.

You have to admire the high effort of FMV games like Mansion of Hidden Souls (Sega CD), even while you lament the lack of engaging gameplay. My understanding of VVVVVV, that it's a platformer with a gravity flip mechanic instead of jumping, sold this game extremely short. 285) Camouflage This one was a pretty good puzzle game. It has a pretty unique premise where you play as a chameleon and blend into the floor you walk on to hide from enemies. It’s too long and the puzzles aren’t too hard which is good. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
