Today is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes named for her apparitions occurring in Lourdes, France. Mary to me is the Great Cosmic Mother. This glass water bottle from Lourdes was given to me by a friend & the statue of Our Lady is a counterpart to my St Bernadette statue I received at confirmation.

Battle Fury of Cuchullin 1949 By Ithell Colquhoun. Colquhoun has depicted Cuchulain here in his famed battle frenzy, one bulging eye, his hair on end like horns. This was said to terrify all and make him unbeatable. In the end though he comes a cropper when he insults the Morrigan. Contd #witchsky
