This makes sense when you remember it can't "understand" anything. It creates the illusion of understanding by drawing from large amounts of data based on the prompt given, and collating that data to find the response that seems most likely to make sense based on recognized patterns.

Gosh I hate AI so much I wish AI never existed. My mom has sight issues so she uses voice assistant. Google Assistant did all the dirty work such as setting reminders and alarms. ... Google introduced their new AI-powered assistant known as Gemini. This piece of bullshit can't even set the alarm.
