We're coming up on 20 years of being sick next year (I'm only 34, so we're already over half my life) & I can absolutely tell. "Why am I so upset!? First accomplishment of the year: beat BioShock Infinite tonight, which means our (slightly over a) year long BioShock playthrough is now finished (we started BioShock 1 January 1st last year). I'm really glad Cakewife enjoyed it so much!

Sometimes I'm like, "oh, my childhood was bad, but it wasn't that bad", and then we'll get to talking about it and then I'm afraid I'm gonna have night terrors because of memories which makes me go, "oh. No. No. It definitely was that bad." I just don't think about it.

Watching something where someone is supposed to be having a medical emergency, stress on emergency, they're all "Go! Go! Go!" and they're reading out the vitals and it's literally just your normal vitals I feel like is just...The Chronic Illness Experience.

Got normal people sick, probably from a household member's carelessness. I'm fairly certain it's just a sinus cold. Please send good vibes that I knock it out quickly. Being chronically ill AND getting normal people sick is just...exceptionally unpleasant, & this is *the* worst time of year for it.

I FINALLY FUCKING DID IT! 91 DAYS! Fighting intense burnout and overexhaustion and then it's the busiest time of the year even without that and then having even more dumb shit happen in the household (which increased the burnout and overexhaustion), but I managed!

Going to look at lights with wifebat, listening to music, and sipping on peppermint hot chocolate. One of my very favorite traditions that we've begun and we've cemented. This year involved very silly Hazbin music that made me snort laughing and a surprise McDs visit for dinner. Love.🩷❄️🎄🎁💜

If I can manage to focus on reading for just ***three*** hours over the next 3 days, I should be able to knock it out before Monday. I'd like to finish before that, but I'll take whatever I can get. Please send me good reading vibes! 🤣😭
