Taught at a music camp this week and it was so much fun. I also enjoy the Ask Me Anything segments in master classes. I swear that’s where they learn the most — asking questions they won’t ask their own teacher or director. And the number of them with the same question is crazy! #music #fundamentals

We currently have two little blue birds trying land in the middle of our picture window. I think they see the reflection of trees at this time of day and are thinking they can land there? Poor frustrated babies!

Today’s rehearsal featured playing more percussion than flute. Broken Husband is playing bulk of percussion (he is degreed percussionist) but has only so many hands. He’s giving me great instruction. I’m kind of having a hoot doing this and we just adore the choir we are accompanying. #HaveMoreFun

I ended a master class a few minutes early today because students clearly needed 5 minutes of being left alone between events and it allowed several to ask me questions not 'in front' of everyone. Most students pulled out their phones or closed their eyes. One pulled out a real book! Ooo...!
