Just finished Andor, feeling like this. The last piece of media that struck me like this was probably Phantom Liberty. For TV, that would be Dark. Also, this is the one (probably only) Star Wars project that can appeal to non-Star Wars audience. It stands strong on its own. Masterpiece.

Saw this two days ago, going for a rewatch tomorrow. One hell of a film, probably my personal top1 2025 so far. And Ludwig Göransson is a genius. Also, it feels like I’m impressed almost anytime I leave the cinema lately. What a time to be alive, so many great films in the past 2 years.

Went to see Nosferatu yesterday. Holy shit, it was just as perfect as I wanted it to be, Eggers is right at home in this style. Lily-Rose Depp is a positive surprise as well. Shoutout to @lucyjames.games for highlighting that Bloodborne parallel in the @friendspersecond.bsky.social, goosebumps

So many great films this past year and still I’m not really into how the awards line up this season, especially with Emilia Pérez getting so much praise (like… why?) I really hope The Brutalist won’t disappoint me the way EP did
