For folks using Shopify, they recently forced all your products into their Agentic (as in AI Agents) sales channels. @rrookstudio.bsky.social is in the process of turning ours off and disabling it. You should go do the same. Reposts appreciated for community visibility.

There doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall this sales channel or to opt out of it at the product level. BUT you can see it on the list of sales channels in the left hand menu, then turn off "Allow Shopify to Manage for Me" and then turn off the options it turned on.

We've turned this as off as they let you turn it off and told them that they need to make this work the same as every other sales channel. Sharing transcripts in case it helps others.

Oh, I have an opinion that might actually piss some people off: I think Darth Vader has not aged terribly well as a villain and feels more dated every time they bring him back.

Rogue One is the pinnacle of how one can revisit the original six movies and do it well. I've heard Andor is great and I need to watch it. But I am genuinely eyes-glazed-over done with any other "royal family" Star Wars. Find other stories to tell, please, for the love of the force.

I think, generally, anyone that wants to engage with Darth Vader should follow the Jedi Survivor design: make him so scary the only thing you can do is run away. No fighting, just fleeing.

Keeping my mouth shut about details but re: the Arena team unionization, I can confirm it's extremely true that trying to negotiate workers rights without a union is basically impossible. Companies thrive on the status quo. Even your fave. We need unions because without them we have no leverage.
