My friend Geoff wouldn’t stop complaining about this abandoned motorcycle, so this morning I decided it should become a garden and this afternoon me and his girlfriend Eva created this Motorcycle Garden Pocket! Thanks to the bike’s neighbour for the broken bike basket—it made for a nice planter.

Yeah, the pool vacuum is working, and they think it gets turned on every morning, but “it’s just not good at getting the stuff at the bottom in the deep end.”

A lifeguard asked me to guess how many litres of water are in Sunnyside Pool because a swimmer had asked him this so he looked it up and now he knows. I guessed a million. The answer? 3.4 million litres!

I was told by a “lane swimmer” standing in the pool during lane swim that I shouldn’t splash water when I swim laps. This person clearly thought she was at lame swim. Pls read the schedule carefully! Happy 100th birthday to Sunnyside Pool!

I just ate a pumpkin seed that tasted like the smell of the animals area at Centreville, on Centre Island. Maybe it's just farm smell? It's probably just farm smell. This was not a good pumpkin seed!

Yesterday very early morning I saw a transformer explode entirely and I’d been close to biking right under it and a squirrel flew and landed dead on the ground and I screamed “holy shit!” and all the stop lights went out. This, I had never seen before!!

Toronto’s population should be reported as an only Toronto Toronto population, without all the amalgamated suburbs, because it otherwise makes the city sound big, when it’s actually not.

This will prob mess with people—even more reason the SkyDome should actually still be called the SkyDome, rather than Rogers Centre.

One news headline says pools were “forced” to close bc of the heat, which is total BS. Actually, terrible problem-solving skills gave someone the terrible idea to close pools because it’s too hot instead of coming up with a better solution to the “guards are too hot” problem. It’s next-level idiocy!
