I won’t lie, I enjoy bigger books, especially in fantasy and sci-fi genres. So the fact that I can say my book is the same length as books like Eragon and Gideon the Ninth is one the most exciting things for me~ What’s the longest book you’ve ever written?

What’s your ideal reading spot? At the beach? A cozy nook at home with a blanket? A woodsy cottage vibe? I love a good cozy reading nook. But I also LOVE nature. So as long as I’m curled up, and I can see green and trees outside my window, I’m a happy camper.

What are you favorite writing tools for your process? I love jumping between Obsidian, Plottr, and a good old fashion notebook when it comes to plotting and outlining. Then for drafting poetry and novels, I use Novlr, and FadeIn for audiodramas.

My reading goal this year is 36 books. So about 3 books a month. I haven’t been doing that well 😂Not between the book launch and diving into edits. But now that we’re hitting a new month, I’m hoping to get back on track. How has your reading been this year? Any good books?

Favorite genres to read, go! Here are some of mine: - action & adventure - fantasy/sci-fi - crime/mystery - romance* *I mostly enjoy romance as a subplot to other genres/plots. It’s not often I read something that’s romance as a main plot, but have enjoyed a few contemporary romance books!

Authors, what’s something crazy you had to research that probably put you on a watchlist? One of mine is electrocution 😂 I promise I'm only up to no good in my stories.

It’s easy to get caught in the moment (we’re human after all!). What’s something you can permit yourself to let go of now, because it won’t matter tomorrow—or even in five years?

While streaming and co-working with author and writer peers, these topics/tips come up the most (a tiny thread 1/2): • Never forget why you write • Be open-minded to feedback • Take breaks between projects after draft milestones • ANY amount of plotting helps (I promise)

In February, I ran an event called Poetry Month, where we had weekly themes and daily prompts to encourage writing poetry, regardless of writing skill. This was the second year doing it and I'm blown away by the turnout. Last year we had 70 poems written. This year was 190!
