At the end of the day I'm an incredibly small artist and my reach is very small, but I need to make myself abundantly clear here: art is art regardless of anyone's individual sensibilities. If there's no real life harm, then just do what you need to avoid it, and move on

also imo, I guess to add onto this, the cost of any product or service should be baked into the final cost. - Employee wages - Taxes (looking at you too, Canada) - Fees If the thing is $99, then it should be $99, not $125.32 after tips, taxes, and fees. i'm sure this is an ice cold take though

I've noticed that a lot of art commissioners tend to hesitate when it comes to asking for changes and it makes me sad. If these requests are reasonable I'm always more than happy to do these changes! We artists are not psychics so we don't always get it right immediately and that's ok.
