we are suffocating under the rubble. our childhoods are being stolen. dreams are buried before they even begin.

I wrote this poem last night: my dear friends, I send you peace that groans beneath the rubble of pain, and love suffocated by the ashes of war, from the heart of devastated Gaza — a land screaming under the weight of destruction, yet no one hears.
