Felt like reading a vn for the first time in almost 2 years i think, perfectly timed that Soulcreek's story has just been concluded. So to complete the cycle i had to do a fanart. Not very creative fanart but just trying out how i would draw him

I watched goblin slayer recently so i drew the lizard priest guy. I've been pretty busy with school stuff so i haven't had energy to do drawing practice regularly. But i'm positively surprised that i can still draw, even if it's in a loose and experimental style

Had this animation loosely sketched like months ago, so i decided to tie it down since i'm still not too inspired to come up with new ideas for drawing. And tying down an animation is the perfect way to burn a lot of time

It's summer time, with my favorite old man from Cienie. I'm trying to improve my value composition and shapes, and i guess colors too. The things i think are my main weaknesses, so i'm happy with how this one turned out despite that

I bought some proper watercolor brushes and tested them out with my gouache paints because i was bored and i only have synthetic brushes. Which work great, but i wanted to try painting without sketching and for that i needed a brush that holds water better

Colored the tree climber in a simpler painting style, similar to my wolverine painting studies

I've been weirdly tired and unfocused lately. Just can't seem to get into anything like i normally would. So to hopefully avoid getting too rusty i'm still trying to get something done, these being some of that. Very rough Rush doodles, might as well post them even if i'm not too proud of them

I've been doing some experimenting again, just some quicker doodles and paintings with new tools and getting a slightly simplified and smoother finish

I did a sketch of Blaidd but i wasn't satisfied with it, and i couldn't really tell why. So i decided to redraw it, mainly as a practice thing. And i think i did end up with a more satisfying result, although i prefer the gesture of the original sketch

Another fruity study. Now if i could apply colors like these to other paintings that would be cool

And on a related note, just desparately trying exercises in the hopes that they will fix me. The gummy lizard guy was done from Taran Fiddlers painting, upside down, trying to copy the shapes. The fruit one was just a still life

Trying to pivot a bit into painting practice but i'm hard struggling tbh. I just feel like i'm not doing as well as i could, but i'm unable to identify why that is. Not an unusual experience or anything, just current feelings. Oh and character here is the witch doctor from terraria

I'm not rwally planning to start doing lineart but i'm trying to be clean enough where i can just auto select and fill in my sketches

More experimenting. Honestly the biggest experiment here was that i took things slowly. Watching any great artist draw in real time really shows me i'm rushing way too much. And the funny thing is it's faster when i don't rush

I'm trying to find new ways to color things. I want to be cleaner and more detailed with my paintings, so i'm trying to experiment with my sketching and rendering approach. Raccoon is @itsmirelo.bsky.social 's character, and the other two are Kimahri and Ifrit for my ongoing ffx phase

I got a new drawing tablet, one with a screen because i happened to find someone selling a used one for a good price. It's difficult to get used to, but here is my first sketch with it, of course it's Kimahri

Well i did a loose painting test and i have concluded it is a bad idea. I spent all my energy doing it, and only worked on the fun parts. Meaning while i like what i painted i don't think i can finish it and that is an incredibly unsatisfying feeling to have after painting

Trying out a new sketching style inspired by Taran Fiddler's werewolf vod on their YouTube. It's a challenge for my skill level, so the proportions suffer a bit. But drawing more directly is engaging and it's good for posing without a plan. I'm just not "feeling" proportions that well yet

Drawing is so difficult sometimes. I feel like i instantly lose a year of experience after a few days of reduced studying. I know it's normal in learning, you need repetition but when things go well one day and the next everything is bad it's very discouraging

Bunny sketch woo, just had to sketch out something and i need to learn to draw rabbit characters in general. I think i have a decent species library that i can draw but most common furry species are carnivores so herbivore head shapes take some practice

For some reason i couldn't upload one of the animations even as an mp4 but it was just a sketch so that's fine. This i luckily was able to upload, it's Kimahri again, probably my favorite animation even if unfinished
