🚨Some Good News🚨 FEMA disaster assistance is now available for neighbors in Grays Harbor and Pierce Counties who were affected by the devastating flooding in December 2025.

Neighbors across my district are feeling the result of Elon Musk’s DOGE. Investments in federal programs that are serving our communities, like the Ocean Shores Food Bank, are declining and cuts to Medicaid are putting our hospitals and health centers at risk.

Like many of my neighbors, I’m disturbed by Trump’s threats to kill, ‘a whole civilization.’ We cannot stand by while a President who’s clearly unfit for office tweets off war crimes. (1/2)

I’m at the Tacoma NW ICE Detention Center for my 8th visit now that the court has ruled once again that Homeland Security cannot interfere with our oversight duty. I’ll be asking tough questions about the conditions inside & I’ll keep showing up to hold these agencies accountable.

Reminder – Pam Bondi is blatantly violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act and the Oversight Committee’s subpoena by refusing to release all the files. We won’t stop fighting for transparency and justice for all survivors.

One of the bright spots for me in this Congress has been the work we’ve been able to do to protect Tribal sovereignty in the House Natural Resources Committee. It’s our duty to make sure we are righting historic wrongs and upholding our treaty and trust responsibilities with Tribal governments.

The Puyallup Tribe deserves the same authority as other Tribes to manage its own trust funds. I’m proud to introduce this legislation in the Native Twulshootseed language alongside @cantwell.senate.gov, @murray.senate.gov, and @marilynstrickland.bsky.social to correct this long-standing inequity.

Yesterday, I joined my colleagues outside the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters to demand Secretary Noem to step down. If the President won’t fire her, we’re ready to introduce articles of impeachment to send her home permanently.

The Trump administration is pouring $100 million into “wartime recruitment strategy” for ICE.   Who exactly are we at war with? The 5-year olds being kidnapped from their parents? Folks on their way to the doctor? People expressing their First Amendment right to free speech and protest?

I voted NO on this funding deal because DHS doesn’t deserve another dollar of taxpayer money as long as lawless agents – led by Secretary Noem, Steven Miller, Tom Homan, Greg Bovino, and the President – are violating our constitutional rights.
