I recommend launching Windows in Safe Mode so only critical Windows functions are activated (usually done by repeatedly hitting F5, or F6 if you need networking) and using the Malwarebytes Antivirus to scan your machine. When people ran the game's .exe through virustotal it worked best at detecting.
