We finished the final mix of our album GRIEF this week when we had 2 more days at Mwnci studios. We worked almost non-stop, often at night (preparing for the next day) due to a very tight time frame and budget. I didn’t sleep, was in a huge stress, hardly ate anything and had autistic meltdowns.

The fast running mountain stream burst its banks and started to flood our house. Luckily, we have a lot of big rocks in Wales so we were able to dam up the stream. The water is receding. It’s a good job that we worked fast and that we came back last night from the studio.

Worked at Mwnci residential studio (South-West Wales) for the last three days. Re-recorded the vocals for almost all songs of GRIEF and did mixing of more than half the album.

When I wrote my most vulnerable and brave post on Facebook and IG about feeling like a failure and unlovable because of my past traumatic experience facing huge challenges as an independent musician, I received well-intended but patronising comments, so now I fear even more to be vulnerable, but…
