I've been cycling my 4 mile circuit almost everyday for a while now. Converting my bike to an E-bike has been the main driver for my renewed enthusiasm to cycle regularly. 4 miles isn't far but it's easy to fit into my day and still gets my heart pumping. Plus, I can avoid the rain showers. 🚲

I just moved over from Windows 10 to Linux Mint on my laptop. I removed the SSD with the Windows 10 installation on and installed Linux Mint on another SSD. So I can always go back to Windows if I need to. I could have used Duel Boot but this can create problems.

After enduring 20 minutes of hygienist plaque removing pain, I left the dentist and made a bee line for the nearby Chinese buffet to start building up plaque for my next visit to the hygienist in 6 months. 😁

I am flabbergasted to discover that humanity uses approx 100 million barrels of oil A DAY. 85% of each barrel is converted into various types of fuel. All fuel is burnt, releasing a cocktail of gases into the atmosphere. It's little wonder our planet's atmosphere is changing.😮

After approx 8 months of wheezing when laying down and mild asthma after cycling it seems to have cleared up. It must have been a chest infection that has been very slow to clear. Taking antibiotics would have cleared it up much quicker but I avoid using them unless the infection is very bad.

Decided to sit downstairs on the bus after watching a group of feral teenagers looking for trouble, chose to sit upstairs. They were donning balaclavas and throwing items at passing vehicles at the bus stop. An Asian guy came downstairs to escape these teenage scum. I felt sorry for the bus driver.

A wonderful day for cycling in the UK. Clear blue skies, all the vegetation is starting to sprout, huge bumblebees bashing into things, the warm breeze blowing through your hair. All the good stuff that comes with springtime.

Had the popular New Zealand dish for lunch. Mince on Toast, which is exactly what it is. I saw it on many menus whilst travelling around New Zealand. Some places varied a little by adding a fried egg on top. Just good wholesome grub.

Last night I was returning home after a disappointing night in the city. A passenger boarded the bus shortly after me and sat on the seat in front. He seemed twitchy and hyper, continually glancing around. I didn't feel in danger but was relieved when he alighted the bus a couple of stops later.

I've spent this morning in Derbyshire experimenting with my late Dad's DSLR camera. It's only 12MP but this is fine. I've concentrated on creating images that can be used as Desktop backgrounds.

I picked at a skin tag whilst sleeping and it bled onto my cream pillow case. So I soaked the area with water then rubbed in some bicarbonate of soda and left it for 6 hours. I then dripped some vinegar on it and let it fizz, then machine washed it and 2 hours later the blood stain was gone.

Well, that's the latest No Man Sky Expedition: Remnant completed. Not my favourite Expedition by a long chalk, but it does introduce a reason to actually use the Colossus Exocraft that is now customisable. You also get a gravity gun and a new costume set, Banners & Titles.

Called in at ASDA this lunchtime for some crispy crust bread buns/ cobb's/ rolls etc and there were none on the otherwise well stocked shelves. There were French loaves and other crispy crusted loaves. I also checked out their bread flour, but it had Alpha-amylase added which I didn't want. 🙄

I've had 2 walks and a cycle ride so far today so I'm feeling less guilty about slobbing out the rest of the day.

Well the Boost Bike app has been out for its first run this morning after installing it on my previously retired phone. The app works fine, but is useless when wearing gloves. However, I do have a pair of open fingered gloves which fixes the problem but they don't keep my hands warm.

I bought some cheap thick socks but weirdly my feet always felt cold after wearing them for a while. So I bought some ordinary socks that were enriched with lambs wool at 3 times the price and my feet now stay warm. Like most things, you get what you pay for.

I've been revisiting my favourite Minecraft mod pack Tekkit for the last couple of days. Just pottering around and building machines and solar panels whilst listening to 70s playlists on Tidal. 😊
