Only a few hours into my 34th birthday, and it’s going good so far. While I don’t expect much celebrating this year, I did get a couple of early gifts that I can appreciate. I plan to fully enjoy a bubble bath after my shift today. :3

Got my new bookshelves organized with a lot of things put in a donation/yard sale pile. Right here is what I’m keeping (for now). It’s slow progress, but I’m slowly getting to a clean and organized room. :)

In my quest to declutter my room and get rid of the years of useless papers and old items, I cleared my desk and its drawers. So what used to be a mountain of loads of papers, trinkets, and video game cases has now been brought down to something more manageable with the game cases in my shelves now.

So, the past couple of weeks, I've been in a Yu-Gi-Oh kick (you can blame the latest episode of Death Battle for that), and I'm really enjoying revisiting episodes of YGOTAS. Seeing these old jokes again really raises my spirits. :3

So, normally, I don't comment on AI usage and such, but seeing this is a letdown. As someone who watched Banana Fish when it came out (and loved it), I never expected an English dub for many reasons, but to see it get one, only for it to be AI, is very sad. I'll take human VAs over machines any day.

I’m a little bummed today. Not only did my old flip-flops break, but when I dropped my car keys, I broke one of my key chains. I’ll have to look through my desk to see if I have a replacement nerdy key chain.

So, I was forced to update to a newer version of microsoft outlook. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, but as of right now, I hate it. Especially how it feels like microsoft products in general seem to wanna push AI. I don't need it. Don't force it on me, please.

Tonight, after coming home from work, I found these two little guys in my driveway. It’s pretty neat. I’ve never seen raccoons this up close before. :)

Well, I decided to treat myself to a new funko pop today. So now, I have a Sally to go with my Jack. :3

Finished my first playthrough of Fire Emblem Blazing Sword tonight. Gotta say, after years of being used to FE Awakening and FE Three Houses, it was interesting playing a fire emblem without a casual mode. I ended up losing five units this run. Will definitely replay this after a break. :)

So, last Sunday was super fun! I went to Animate Orlando on Sunday to get autographs from some of the big cast members of HelluvaBoss (and the show’s creator). They were all really nice people: Bryce Pinkham and Richard Horvitz especially were very charming and friendly and eased my excited nerves.

Man, my latest coloring book is really challenging me to try some shading techniques to make the pictures pop. With that being said, I ADORE how this is coming out so far (though I’ll need to wait for sunset to get a cloud reference).

Worked on another coloring page last night (sort of). Since it was the “this book belongs to…) page, I knew I didn’t have to color it, but I wanted to. I’ll probably work on the next true page later today. :)

With heavy topics from social media and discord weighing heavily on my mind, I feel I need something comforting to escape to. So, for tonight, I've got some ice cream and coloring books to indulge in while I turn on Aladdin. Gonna have fun with it. :3

After thinking over the fact I've had multiple messages asking if I wanted commissions for my fanfics, I decided to get an Ao3 account. Once I learn how the site works, I'm going to re-upload my one-shots there to see if people actually like them, or if I'm only getting these messages from scammers.

Went to Hot Topic to get a new wallet. While there, I noticed all of the Hellaverse merch, and while browsing, I realized that a certain character is now high in my favorites list. Because my reaction to seeing them on merch was the same as it is for seeing Yugi (YGO) and Ventus (KH) merch. XD

Feeling a little bummed this evening, so did another coloring page in my daily calendar tonight. I always forget how well coloring helps my mood. If I’m still bummed tomorrow, I think I’ll go through my coloring books again.

So, today, I got another private message on fanfiction of someone wanting to do a commission with me (basically, draw artwork for my fanfics). This is the third time this has happened to me this year, and it sort of makes me want to pay for someone to do art for it. XD

I’ve made more progress on my current coloring page tonight. After thinking for a little bit, I colored the outfit with colors worn by a certain Yugioh villain who happens to start with rainbow hair in the abridged series. XD (Now the question is do I make her eyes the same as his, too…)

Spent a day with the niece today and had fun playing around. A couple things we did include making a blanket fort and coloring (where I got started on my next coloring page). Pretty fun change of pace.

Felt like I became more adult-like in my adult life today. To help my parents, I vacuumed the house by choice for a change, and for the first time, I didn't outwardly hate doing this chore. Feels like a huge boost to my mood after a lot of things happening IRL. XD

Not sure if I’ll finish this one since I can’t tell where the other flowers start and end, but here’s another picture that came on a page for my daily calendar. Used my markers this time. :)

In other news, work was a real struggle today. I may start on my new coloring page tonight. My initial thoughts are to use mostly purple on this anime girl, but I’m also asking around for suggestions to find something interesting/challenging.

So, the Java chip Frappuccino was removed from the Starbucks menu today. But, if I’m looking correctly, the mocha cookie crumble one is still on the menu. Might switch my morning drink to that if it’s on the menu.

Got back into working on coloring pages in one of my many coloring books. It was fun to work on while hanging out with my adopted niece. ^_^

So, I'll be asking around tomorrow when I get my breakfast from Starbucks, but after seeing an article online that says that drinks are getting removed from the menu - specifically, the only thing I drink, the java chip frappuccino - I'm thinking I may not be getting Starbucks anymore. :/

Not much of an artist, but decided to draw these using photos as reference. The drink came from a photo I took of my Starbucks frappe when I noticed they started putting their “for here” drinks in glasses. The bird is based off a picture I found online. It’s not high art, but I think it’s cute. :)

Well, I feel like I've been tugged around. Last week, I got a message on fanfiction from someone that enjoyed one of my KH one-shots. They said they wanted to enhance my story with some art. It was the first time someone ever wanted to do art for my fanfics, so of course, I said they could do it.

Got some awesome gifts for my birthday tonight. I’m really excited to try the drinks. ^^

Well, it is now 2025 (for me and everyone else on the east coast). For the most part, I think my 2024 was alright. It only really got stressful in these last few months (mainly due to the hurricanes that hit us this year). This year, I'm making a resolution to try and do more for my mental health.

I got married and fired. I think there’s a few different directions you could take that. XD

Well, in light of recent real-world events, I finally caved and bought Vampire Survivors for Switch. I tried it for the first time at MetroCon last summer but didn't really have a chance to get the hang of it, so I'm hoping to have fun with it in the next couple of days. :)
