It's so fun teaching kids again after a five year hiatus. We rolled down the big blue mat at an incline, practiced strikes on the red mat while counting in Japanese, and forgot to use the sticks. Next time.

Our youth aikido program meets twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. We are well staffed with two teaching teams of two Sensei each, dedicated aikido practitioners themselves. It's such an honor to introduce young people to their most capable, playful, and grounded selves.
