First real game of MCP. It was my opponent’s first game as well, aside from a demo we had both played. Was a lot of fun. My X-Men ended up taking home the victory, though my opponent’s dice rolls were abysmal. Cyclops was a real MVP, taking out Venom and positioning my other minis.

Not the most exciting hobby progress, but they’ll be used every game for Marvel Crisis Protocol. Speed paints through the airbrush over white for the vibrant colors. Normal brush for the black and a gloss varnish. Hard to fix mistakes with this method so a few stray black strokes. #nerdlings

Finished a pair of .50 cals and officer to make my Bastogne Easy Company force Bolt Action v3 complete. Odd kit. Doesn’t include a crewman feeding ammo into the gun so out of the box the gun looks empty. I added some spare ammo cans and belts from an old 1/48 Tamiya kit. #nerdlings

Finished my Entmoot. Like every Ent player, i painted one as a birch tree. Beechbone is a named character in the book without a specific model. He’s the Ent that gets set on fire. I represented him by trimming all the leaves off one and painted it burnt. #nerdlings

Finished my RG RX-78-2 2.0 with water slide transfers. Really fun kit, aside from the weird elbow assembly. Love the design, it’s a classic for a reason. Real Gundam-ass Gundam. I used Vallejo satin mecha varnish through the airbrush for the top coat.

Finished this RG Eva Unit-00. Added aftermarket water slide transfers and did some paint work on the blade of the knife and the little red dots on the knuckles, both of which are normally really tiny stickers I didn’t want to deal with. Also did a matte topcoat.
