How soon is now, how can you say, you agree to the NDA, and you go and play on your own, and all my hope is not gone. That was terrible, anyhow the discord channel is up, the NDA is there, the rules are there and people are organizing their thoughts last i saw.

The playtest IS up, people have been reading and formulating opinions for a hot minute now. We're building a street level foundation that plays seamlessly with characters before we attack my nemesis the square cube law with giant robots.

And I know I keep taking about it without the playtest being open (I promise @evilrobotgames.bsky.social is working on setting it up!), but something I want to be able to do in our upcoming mecha system is the ability to emulate things like GITS:SAC, Appleseed, M-66, BGC, and other classics.

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions. Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail. Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos. Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.

After wiping out a huge part of the party's magic with a mages disjunction, the players suggested I might never do that again. The rogue lost 100k worth of items. 20 years later an AP I was running called for it, luckily someone counterspelled it.

Give them THE toys every kid wants. Mighty Thor Starter Kit, giant belt, ogre Gauntlets and hammer of thunderbolts. Everyone made a case why their character could use it. The clerics take when not casting could throw it for 4d6. The front liner got it in the end to swing twice per round.

One thing, I've run as a ruthless capitalist treasure keeper with share including item picks as a player, and run as GM over positively socialist player treasure distribution and never say anything as GM when treasure distribution evolves out of the character personalities organically.

Scifi still scarcity society with communism as an RPG, players appear on a game show to compete against other adventurers for new equipment as they level. If you need it more than the other guy, prove it.

I believe players used to roll off for treasure, when an item came up that more than one player wanted. I believe we did this at the table before MMOs created a similar rollover mechanic.

How do you split treasure in your games, everything equal shares as a portion of the total, do magic class items count against share? Does everyone pick an item and sell the rest and split the proceeds? Does the party fund pay for healing before the split?

Some wind down stuff for fun. Recently played DOOM TDA, inspired me to do some hefty sci fi gun stuff, type you would see in a good ol old school FPS. P.S. 'Gun people', i know its stupid and wouldn't work, i dont care, its for fun, chill out.

And to make those inferior goods, forcing longer hours and commutes instead of work from home on a self-determined schedule. The stockingers could produce their whole contracted weekly commitment in about 35 hours a week, often in 3 12 hour days. The owners wanted 6 12 hour days a week.
