The Ironbark blossoms in Central Victoria are unreal at the moment, and we can't stop playing with them! These are from a local Red Ironbark (Eucalyptus tricarpa). They were coating the ground like a carpet, after the local lorikeets, rosellas and cockatoos had been through! #FlowersOnFriday

#FlowersOnFriday: The Silver-leaved Mountain Gum (Eucalyptus pulverulenta) is cold-hardy & tolerates a wide range of rainfall conditions. This makes it a great garden mallee for regions where the climate is too cold & wet for most small, ornamental eucalypts. It can also be kept in a large pot!
