Spent the morning taking a bike ride, then having brunch and a lovely walk in the park with an awesome friend, and now I'm lounging in my apartment listening to a very little girl outside our building calling out "HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!" to everyone who walks by.

Going through my back catalogue of SF and struggling with "Long Way to a Small Angry Planet," even though I do enjoy that that title really does explain a lot more of the plot than I expected. I just don't really connect with any of the characters yet, which I think is my failing not the author's.
