A contrast in success/failure. The chowder - massive success, looks brilliant. Cooking gods just didn't want us making the Yorkshires today. First batch too dense because I used butter/PAM to grease the pan. We accidentally dropped the second batch as we put it in the oven. Oh well.

The other half craved bread and butter pudding so we tried a Gordon Ramsay recipe. No apricot jam to glaze so we subbed strawberry preserves. Fear I had more egg mixture than bread. Still looks stunning.

The rest of tonight's menu: Dan-Dan style ramen stir fry w/ bread and butter pudding for dessert. Serving up pix later!

Urge to cook today too damn strong… more foodstuffs to come!
