When you're chronically ill, your baseline is everything. Sometimes it's easy to forget just how much even minimal amounts of functioning can mean to you... until you lose it. It takes almost nothing to lose function, and a ton of effort to regain it. Never apologize for protecting your baseline.

Having a body isn't as much fun as I thought it would be. Zero stars.
