As a forward, going from an equivalency in the 20s in your pre-draft year to one over 50 in your draft year is extremely rare. Has only happened 4 times in the last ~40 years.

Cole Perfetti and Sam Reinhart are mirror images of each other in the model. Big game star Perfetti coming in a few years? Probably.

Certainly curious to follow this one over the next few years. Cole Hutson and Adam Jiricek... born on the same day, both the younger brothers of highly touted NHL prospects, taken nearly 30 picks apart. One trending to be a star the other one trending to possibly miss the NHL.

Igor Chernyshov update... Yikes. Yikes. Yikes. He and Artamonov are looking like the steals of the 2024 draft. (Your friends at HP (myself) had them both in the top 32 though)

Zayne Parekh should hit 30 goals again on the season. No dman has ever hit back to back 30 goal seasons in their DY and D+1 seasons coming from any league, even high school.

William Eklund was a player I and the model were high on at the draft. He had a slower development curve than I would have guessed after his draft season but he's starting to come on now. Currently enjoying his first star season in the NHL. Might be a stud yet.

Anton Silayev trending well in his D+1 season in the KHL thus far. That Devils D core is going to be a serious wagon.

Dustin Wolf, in his first taste of full-time NHL duty, is already putting together a star season this year for the Flames. This is good news. Flames might have their starter to guide them through the next decade.

Not very often that these ones are available outside of the 1st round. I wonder if teams even realize what they're potentially sitting on when they do get one of these outside of the 1st. Stumbling ass backwards into gold.

Lekkerimaki didn't splash in his D+1 year like I was expected but was chuggin' by his D+2. He hasn't played enough in his D+3 for an update yet but so far, so good with his early AHL results.

Cameron Schmidt has pretty elite production in his pre draft year and draft year but he's 5'7''. If he's over 6'0'' he wouldn't make it out of the top 10. How far is he going to tumble?

Quick reminder about NHL hit rates. Even a late 1st rounder is slightly better than a 50/50 shot of becoming a legitimate 200+ game NHLer. You're chances of drafting a star fall off incredibly outside of the top 5.
