Tonight I started making a modification to Chris Borge's ball vise. Before, I had M8 threads in the little platforms next to the feet, but I found that with my gooseneck accessories that had power cords (lights, fans, etc), the cords would get all twisty and swapping them out ended up being a pain.

made some new bases for the helping hands so they fit into the fixture plate. I think the knurling is sorely missed, though.

I've no idea why everything I've been designing recently has related to work holding, but so it goes. shamelessly inspired by Omnifixo. (I'm still waiting on threaded balls for the feet). Despite being a #3dprint, its actually really nice, and it turns out a bit more flexible.
